What is a Tubano drum?

The Tubano is a Remo invention and an entirely new development for a musical instrument. Tubano drums are the preferred choice for drumming programs where students range in ages 5 to 85 and are very light and easy to store and maintain. 100 Series Tubano drums feature Remo’s standard drum key tuning system for tuning flexibility, and Nuskyn Type 2 Mondo drumheads for durability, weather-resistance and authentic feel and sound. These unique drums are available in a variety of sizes and finishes.

Festival Tubano is designed with a lightweight environmentally recycled drum shell and a carefree replaceable Fliptop® Pre-Tuned synthetic drumhead that eliminates the need for tuning or concern for weather.
