Every Adams Custom Series instrument is completely handcrafted in the Adams Musical Instruments factory in the Netherlands.
The sophisticated and perfectly balanced construction, combined with an optimal gauge give the Adams Custom Series flugelhorn its glowing and ardent timbre, excellent tuning, purity and great projection. A flugelhorn that really sounds like a flugelhorn throughout every register and in every dynamic.

F1 Flugelhorn
The Absolute Number 1
The F1 Flugelhorn has a ML bore of 10.5 mm and a standard 400 gram brass valve section. The instrument is available with three different bell diameters of 150mm, 160mm or 170mm.
The F1 is an absolute all-round flugelhorn, suitable for every type of player and style of music. The F1 Flugelhorn was the very first model made in the brass factory of Adams Musical Instruments.
F2 Flugelhorn
Heavy and Large
The F2 Flugelhorn is the heavy brother of the f1, also with a ML bore and comes standard with a 170mm bell diameter and a heavy 535 gram brass valve section.
The F2 Flugelhorn has standard designer finger buttons in Snakewood. A great choice for those players who prefer a heavier feel and large bell, a great partner to the A4 Trumpet.
F3 Flugelhorn
The fully new F3 flugelhorn is a heavy built instrument with the F2 valve casing and wider bell taper, giving the instrument a beautiful dark and warm sound and great power in the top register. Less bracing ensures more resonance and the soldered bell lead provides extra core to the sound.
The new F3 is not intended as a soloist instrument, but has been re-developed with the section player in mind. The result is a flugelhorn that blends extremely well.
The instrument comes two standard configurations, both in an ML bore (10.5mm) with a 0.50 brass bell with a 170mm bell flare diameter, and in Satin Gold Lacquer and Silver Plate finishes.
F4 Flugelhorn
The 4th Valve Flugel
The F4 Flugelhorn comes equipped as standard with a 4th valve.
This Flugelhorn has a 6 inch (160 mm) diameter and is available with a ML bore offering the player a virtuosic instrument with good core strength.
F5 Flugelhorn
A Short-Action Copper Flugel
The F5 Flugelhorn is wonderful combination of old-school vintage sound concepts combined with the advancements in modern technology. This instrument features our short action valves, a straight direct-air column ported valve-set, compact feel, and specially designed bell which complements the chassis wonderfully.
The sound result is a pure, rich, warm and very fluid Flugelhorn. This horn is also available with a full copper bell which makes the instrument even more lush and rich.

The YFH-631G is easy to play in a traditional style and has a broad and rich tonal range. Proper intonation can be achieved by adjusting the third valve slide trigger.
